[ zero-retention architecture ]

We can't hold your photos hostage. We never have them.

Most event-photo apps upload your guests' photos to their servers — then charge you to keep them: storage tiers, expiry countdowns, HD upgrades. Vesprel is built so that's impossible. Photos travel from your guests' phones directly into storage you own. There is nothing on our side to cap, compress, expire — or leak.

How a photo travels

the whole path · nothing hidden

01

Your guest takes a photo

The camera runs in their browser — no app, no account. Vesprel's server issues a short-lived, single-file upload ticket for your connected storage. The ticket carries no credentials a browser could misuse.

02

It uploads straight to your storage

The photo travels from the guest's phone directly to your Google Drive, Dropbox, or S3 bucket at full original resolution. The bytes never pass through Vesprel on upload — we couldn't keep a copy if we wanted to.

03

You open your private gallery

The gallery lists what's in your storage and shows it to people you've let in. For Google Drive and Dropbox, images pass through our servers in memory — only while being displayed, never written to disk, never retained.

→ what we keep

The boring minimum.

Running the service requires a small amount of data about you — never about your event's photos.

  • Your account email and a hashed password.
  • Event settings — name, date, gallery password.
  • An encrypted connection token for the storage account you chose to link.
  • Ordinary server logs, without photo content.

→ what we never keep

Your photos. Full stop.

There is no Vesprel photo library, no backup bucket, no “cache” that quietly becomes a copy.

  • No photos or videos, at any resolution.
  • No thumbnails at rest — display is in-memory only.
  • No AI training on your images — we don't have them.
  • Delete your account and nothing of your event remains here but an invoice.

[ what this means for you ]

No storage tiers, because we store nothing. No 90-day countdown, because there is nothing here to expire. No compression, because the originals go straight to you. And when a corporate legal team asks where guest photos are processed and retained, the answer is one line: in storage you control, under your retention policy — Vesprel retains nothing.
